STAGE TUBE: Adinah Alexander Sings 'Never Never Land' at BROADWAY SESSIONS
In the spirit of tonight's PETER PAN LIVE! on NBC, watch Adinah Alexander perform "Never Never Land" from the musical at BROADWAY SESSIONS over the summer!
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue). TriArts Sharon Playhouse is set to present The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, June 28-July 15 at Sharon Playhouse. Artistic director John Simpkins will direct.
Featuring a book by Larry L. King and Peter Masterson and a score by Carol Hall, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is a gritty satire about moral hypocrisy and media sensationalism.
The cast will be led by Adinah Alexander as Miss Mona and Travis Mitchell as Sheriff Earl Dodd and will also feature Meggan Utech (Jewel), Rose Bisogno (Shy), Kathleen Weston (Angel), Ashley Sweetman (Doatsey), Emily Soell (Miss Wulla Jean), Tim Shea (Melvin P. Thorpe), John Champion (Governor), Duane Estes (Senator Wingwoah), Dave Cadwell (Bandleader/Edsel Mackey), Russ Sawicki (C.J. Scruggs), and Philip O’Reilly (Mayor Rufus Poindexter). The ensemble will include Stephen Beard, Drew Berezowitz, Amber Cameron, Livie Casto, Sarah Pearl Loman, Gena Loe, Zach Longstreet, Christian Lowery, Nick Savarese, Becky Sawicki, Jim Scofield, and Samantha Weinstein.
