    Indian Activist Roshni Perween Recognized Among Five Champions at the 2023 Young Activists Summit in Geneva

    Geneva, Switzerland: The 2023 Young Activists Summit, held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, celebrated the accomplishments of five exceptional young activists, with a special focus on Indian advocate Roshni Perween for her dedicated efforts against child marriage.

    H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated the summit, lauding the activists for their courage and commitment in tackling global challenges. Attended by 650 participants and joined online by 20,000 from 144 countries, the event underscored the vital role of young people in addressing urgent global issues.

    Moderated by Trisha Shetty, founder of SheSays and Vogue India’s Woman of the Year, the summit showcased a diverse array of activists. Roshni Perween, leading the charge against child marriage, stood alongside advocates championing Rohingya people’s rights, peacebuilding in the Sahel region, climate action for peace, and environmental protection.
