Stephen Colbert, of ‘The Colbert Report’, interviewed New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman about his book Jesus, Interrupted last week. This is a hilarious interview! Colbert is not at all fair to Ehrman, but he sure does throw some great one liner zingers at Ehrman. I am sure my pastor, Jeff Garner, who did his MA and D.Min work in the Gospel of John, will enjoy Colbert’s remark about the first three Gospels being rough drafts for the Fourth.
